Hosted by Cassie McCreary and Kellie Seghi, “Oddities: A Podcast of the Strangest by the Curious” is a comedy podcast at the intersection of all things spooky, or “spookala bookala,” and strange. From paranormal occurrences to weird history, true crime, extraterrestrials, strange weather, scientific phenomena, and everything in between, Oddities seeks to explain all things odd while serving up laughs…and maybe a little debunking along the way.
About the hosts
Cassie McCreary
Hailing from a small New Jersey town, Cassie developed an early passion for science, the odd, and the spooky. Her millennial upbringing involved Ouija board sessions, ridiculing horror chain messages, and fixating on the Titanic’s submerged secrets. Now, holding degrees in history, biology, emerging media, and biotechnology, Cassie’s career spans clinical research and digital marketing. Alongside podcasting in her free time, horseback riding, guitar playing, and gaming, she’s gearing up for martial arts.
Kellie Seghi
Kellie, podcast co-host extraordinaire, crafty mom, and unraveler of oddities on “Oddities,” hails from California, where during her childhood she was surrounded by curiosities that fueled her inquisitiveness. Intense obsessions with the Titanic and Victorian fashion kindled a love for history and peculiarities. Beyond researching and cherishing moments with her kids, Kellie enjoys outdoor escapades, reading, and crafting. Embark on this curious journey with her!
